Sweettart Broccoli Slaw
This broccoli slaw was a really popular part of our dinner tonight! I was pretty surprised when all the kids liked it! It’s a good way to sneak some more turmeric into your diet, which helps decrease inflammation and promote healing. The best part is that it took about 5 minutes to make! Here’s the recipe:
1 Package Broccoli Slaw Mix
1/3 Cup Dried Cranberries
1/4 Cup Raw Sunflower Seeds
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp Turmeric
2 Tbsp Whole Grain Dijon Mustard
1 Tbsp Raw Honey
2 Tbsp Dried Chives (you can substitute 1/4 cup fresh)
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Place the broccoli slaw mix, cranberries, and seeds in a large bowl, then whisk together the other ingredients in a small bowl. Pour the desired amount of dressing over the slaw and toss together. Enjoy! Next time I’m going to have to double this!
