Easy Paleo Meal Idea
One thing I love about the Paleo diet is that it is usually low carb. I do not eat entirely Paleo food, but some of my meals definitely fit the description! This recipe is an easy Paleo meal idea that is perfect for a weeknight meal.
Before we get to the recipe, I want to invite you to join with others who are making healthy changes. I’d love to walk alongside you in your journey towards wholeness and health!
Serves 6
- 1 Package Ground Turkey
- 1 Package (1-2 Cups) Brussels Sprouts, Halved
- 1 Small Onion, Chopped
- 1 Package Sliced Mushrooms
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Chopped
- Sea Salt and Pepper to Taste
- 1 Tsp Organic Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Celery Seeds
Spray a large cast iron skillet with coconut oil and heat it over medium heat. Add the brussels sprouts, onion, and mushrooms, and cook until they are soft and light brown. Sprinkle with seasoning. Add Turkey, paprika, celery seeds, and more sea salt and pepper. Cook until turkey is completely cooked. Stir frequently.
By the way, if you do not yet own a 12 inch cast iron skillet, I highly recommend adding it to your collection! Do not cook on teflon coated pans…they are poisonous and dangerous. Even the newer ones that claim to be better are just using a slightly changed formula.
Serve with Paleo Biscuits.
