It’s been a while since we talked about chocolate. In case you forgot that it’s healthy, click here to read an old post that will remind you of some really good news about chocolate! For a quick refresher course, I’ll just tell you that it is loaded with healthy fiber, iron, trace minerals, and neurotransmitters that make you feel happy. Do you even have to wonder why women crave it at least once a month? This low carb, dairy free dark chocolate ganache can be used as a spread, a dip, or a frosting…and I’ll admit that I sometimes use it more like a soup. .
- 1 1/2 Cups 63% Cocoa Chocolate Chips (Dairy Free)
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Cream
- 1/4 Cup Almond Milk
- 1/4 Cup Smart Balance
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
Mix them together in a bowl and microwave until the chips are melted. I usually start with 30 seconds, try stirring, then add in 10 second increments. Be careful not to burn the chocolate! Enjoy!
